Site Team Assistant/Caretaker 

 

37 hours per week available, 52 weeks per year (plus regular overtime)

£24,219 per annum (subject to pay award)

Redruth School is a successful school set in beautiful West Cornwall. We are looking to appoint  an enthusiastic and flexible person to join our Site Team. The successful candidate will ideally have a working knowledge of general maintenance and Health and Safety, as well as experience of working in a similar role, although not essential as a full training package will be provided, including Health and Safety and First Aid. 

The successful candidate should be able to: 

  • work as part of a team 
  • take initiative and make sound decisions  
  • have basic maintenance skills 
  • prioritise workload and manage time effectively 
  • be flexible to changing demands of the post 
  • possess good timekeeping 
  • deal with students, colleagues, parents and members of the public in a professional and helpful manner 
  • understand Health and Safety principles in the work place
