Students at Redruth recently had the opportunity to take part in an exciting competition. Spaceport Cornwall 2022 will see the first ever space launch from the UK happen this year. The winners of the competition would be invited along to be part of 
the crew reporting the event on the day.

The competition was open across the county.  Students who applied, had to get creative and showcase their journalist skills by writing or submitting a short video on a topic of interest in the form of a podcast, interview or statement. 

Five winners were finally picked. Three of our students received a surprise gift and were highly commended for their contribution to the competition. Good effort!
