Dr Gower, Head of Science, had the pleasure of introducing our Y7 and Y8 students to a special guest speaker who had come from the world renowned Royal Institution in London, to showcase and ignite interest in all things science and inspire them to think more deeply about the subject and its place in our lives. The lecture covered a series of topics including how energy is produced. The demonstrations were very interactive and entertaining which the students thoroughly enjoyed.
