Colonel impressed by Redruth Cadets

Posted on: 17/10/2022

On Friday 7 October, our Combined Cadet Force had its first biennial review.
Our inspecting officer was Colonel Gary McDade who is responsible for all army operations in the South West. Captain Herlihy gave a presentation about the importance of Cadets in the Redruth area and how the club has developed over the past few years. Corporal Nicole B and Corporal Tate S talked about their experiences in cadets, how much they have learned and grown and how they will take this forward into the future. For their dedication, commitment and wonderful presentation, both students were awarded the Commander's Coin which is given to those who show exceptional performance. We look forward to welcoming Colonel McDade back in two years' time for our next review.
