This term students from Years 7 and 8 were invited to enter the Food Technology Baked Bean Competition.

The aim was to present a meal with a fine dining element to it and/ or produce something unique and fun.

The winners will receive their height in Baked Bean tins!

More than 60 students took on the challenge and the creations have been outstanding. 

Year 7 winner was Ollie and his volcanic creation, while Rhiannon won for Year 8 with her homage to Stonehenge. Special commendations also go to Kensa, Siena, Tate, Freddie and Aiden from Year 7 and Elsie, Carmen and Oliver from Year 8. 

Thank you all for taking part and to the school you are all winners. 

The next competition will be a World Book Bake Off!
