The BAE roadshow visited us this week, with personnel from BAE Systems, the RAF and Royal Navy who travel the country showcasing and inspiring students on the broad and diverse range of career opportunities that can be achieved from studying STEM. The theme of the show was electricity. Our Year 7 and 8 students were able to observe light sabre battles, become human batteries, create circuits and learn about renewable electricity. The students thoroughly enjoyed the interactive show, especially seeing how much energy staff could generate through pedal power!
