Two alumni students Lilli Wright and Grace Turnock were recently invited to attended a celebration event at Buckingham Palace.

During their time at Redruth School, both girls completed their D of E Bronze and Silver awards, despite the challenges of the typical Cornish weather and the inconvenience of a pandemic! Following on from this, both girls really enjoyed the adventure aspect of D of E, so decided to continue the programme at college. By the end of their A-levels in 2022, Lilli and Grace had gone on to complete their gold award alongside their studies.

This is an inspirational achievement and shows dedication and motivation. Celebrating at the palace was the perfect reward!
